About the Event

We learnt that some ASC (autistic Spectrum Condition) members did not want to travel to events.

The lockdown through Covid has identified the success of online digital events.

This will be the first of 12 Podcasts aired by The Different Show and Square Circle Theatre.

The first topic: Masking is a widely discussed topic but not necessarily by those who mask.

A balance of autistic members and non autistic members during discussion will hopefully highlight

more understanding on the topic.

A workshop at a later date which can be online will introduce mask making.

Making your own masks with all its crinkles and holes will give a physical idea to all how their mask

has worked for them. There are others too. Not just one. But this is a start.

Mine are many, produced through performance. The social issues are still present for me, the host.

One thing is clear. Being Autistic usually includes chronic ailments. It's a gentic condition. Why have one

when you can have many? A further topic for the podcast.

It'll be advertised on the website and eventbrite. FREE tickets. We expect it to start in May 2021.
